Primitive Folk Art Paintings

Set in the 1800's these paintings are both of real and imagined places. Paintings are done in acrylics making the colors vivid and eye-catching while creating tranquil scenes and ways of life of the 1800's. Each painting is unique and whenever possible are set in antique frames.

"AFTER THE STORM" depicts the serenity after a winter storm. People leave their cozy fires to enjoy the fresh snow and crisp air. Painting measures 16" by 20" . $315 plus shipping.

"A Perfect Summer"
This painting is reminiscent of my childhood growing
up on the Rhode Island shore. You can feel the sun and
gentle shore breezes on this perfect summer day.
Children are playing while a family picnics in the
dunes. The weathered shingle style homes overlook the
calm waters of the Atlantic while sailing ships lull
by. Painting is acrylic framed in an ANTIQUE highly

"Pond's Frozen!"
